Reindeer Poop Cookie Recipe - No Bake

I was suppose to go to a Christmas Cookie Exchange party the other day but I got tied up preparing for a big family event. Family first. :) But I still want to share with everyone my go-to Christmas Cookie Exchange Recipe. It's a classic no-bake cookie with a secret. The secret is the vanilla, you have to use Tahitian Vanilla. Sure it tastes good with the regular Madagascar vanilla, but the Tahitian Vanilla is meant for recipes that do not require baking and it just makes it wonderful!

Also, what makes this a fun recipe for a Christmas Cookie Exchange Recipe is what you name it. My personal favorite names are "Reindeer Poop" and "Coal"(if you want to be a bit cleaner about it. :))

How to Make Reindeer Poop - A No Bake Cookie

These are ingredients that we typically have on hand, so I can whip these up really quick.  Literally, one reindeer poop cookie recipe makes 4 dozen cookies in less than 20 minutes.  For a cookie exchange party or large crowd, this is PERFECT! Oats, Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Peanut Butter, Salt, Butter and Tahitian Vanilla.

Add the butter, milk, cocoa powder and sugar to a sauce pan.  Melt and boil for one minute.  Stir constantly.

I'm not sure if everyone knows about this kitchen measuring tool, so I took a picture of it. This is a Wonder Cup Adjustable Measuring Cup, that I've had for 20 years.  It's my go-to tool for measuring peanut butter, mayonnaise, sour cream etc., things that don't want to come out of cups. With the Wonder Cup, I can take a knife or spoon and drop it into the cup, then you push the bottom and it dumps the correctly measured food into the bowl. - Easy!

There is my blob of peanut butter, salt and oats.  I love the  Wonder Cup Adjustable Measuring Cup!

Once I've combined the mixture in the sauce pan with the dry mixture, setup my dropping station.  Here I use Wax paper and two spoons.

And here they are: Reindeer Poop Cookies - No Bake Cookies. :)
