Happy Birthday US Army

Happy 237th Birthday of the US Army!

This was too funny not to share! (although it makes me question our education system :) )

My husband has been serving for the US Army either through active duty or as a Army Reservist since 1996.  These past two weeks he has been at Fort Gillem serving his two week annual requirement (1 weekend a month and 2 weeks out of the year to keep up their skills for battle).  Today, marks the 237th Birthday of the US Army so his unit ordered out for the cake to celebrate.

He texted me this picture with the message “Cake making at its best. Happy two-hundred and thirty seven years. “

The baker clocked in but certainly didn’t check in.
