My New Year’s Resolution is to organize my house.  Um yeah – the house…:) I’ll take my time with it, after all I have a whole year!  But I definitely don’t want to scramble at the last minute (I remember one time, my resolution was to be able to do the splits, man did I work it the whole month of December :) – I made the goal…can’t do it now – that’s for sure). ;-)

Ok, so what bugs me about my house that I need to organize….a picture montage will help with this.  So far I can identify 4 (four) main areas that drive me nuts!  I’m sure more will pop up as we go through the year.:-) 
1) My Craft/Workroom.  
Oh, help me!!! – just by the look of it, how in the world can I do this!  This will be the first area I tackle because I spend so much time here.
2) My Spice “Rack”

Oh how this drives me nuts when I have to search for 1 spice and it is, of course, always the last one I find!  It has bugged me for YEARS!!! This year it’s getting fixed!


3) The Mud Room

This was the place where we fed Charlie, who has passed to a better place. This is where Charlie had his anxiety attacks about us leaving him for a bit, and the kids complete their outfits for school (shoes, socks, gloves, hats and jackets).   It is definitely time to fix the door, the trim and make the area look more welcoming.

4) Master Bedroom Closet

I admit, I’m the culprit here. I’m the one who leaves their clothes on the floor and leaves an unmarked pile to go to the dry cleaners. Ben is really good about putting things up, although it goes askew pretty easily as it is today.  I’m really not happy with how it all looks… I think we need to weed out the cloths and put likes together.


You know what?  I’m excited about all of the above – I’m finally going to fix it!  
Y’all keep me honest, help me meet this goal! AND feel free to throw in ideas, as you can see I need all the help I can get!!!
